Bokja partnered with 81 Designs, a platform showcasing the talent of refugee artisan women, seeking to preserve the ancient embroidery technique of ‘tatreez’ while providing livelihood opportunities. The result was five hand-embroidered sculptures of women adorned with 100 embroidered scarves presented and sold at Abu Dhabi Art Fair to support the social enterprise.
