Tondo Dress

With this fall/winter print we remember Kamal, an Egyptian artisan we worked with for many years. Lovingly titled Ortancia, it depicts a pink Sarma embroidery conversing with an electric pink embroidered mosque – a nostalgic nod to the innate beauty of religion and its places of worship. In addition, a blood red brocade framed by an explosion of hydrangeas fuses divergent fragments from our textile archives. We are eager to embrace the change of weather. Reminiscent of the season’s changing colors, and the first leaves falling, the Tondo Dress is quintessential autumn. Made from 100% silk twill and cut into an essential long-sleeve. midi silhouette, the Tondo is a match for flats or cold weather boots, and for seamless transitions between the design atelier and dinner with friends.
