Oxpeckers birds share a charming symbiotic relationship with both rhinos and zebras: they nourish themselves with the ticks and parasites that live on the backs/bodies of the zebras and rhinos- and in this process,  the zebra and rhinos simultaneously get a free, thorough “shower” or cleaning.  Bokja celebrates this inspiring act of kinship.
