Nods to the pre-war cafes of Beirut

At Noura, redesigned by Laura Gonzalez, hand-upholstered panels line the walls and a pine-tree embroidery commemorates the preservation of the Bisri Valley.

Nods to the pre-war cafes of Beirut

Every meticulous detail in Laura Gonzalez design invites you on a nostalgic journey, with coloured tones and nods to the pre-war cafes of Beirut. Our craftsmen have delicately adorned the walls with hand-upholstered and embroidered panels, showcasing Bokja’s signature artistry.

The pine tree embroidery by Bokja commemorates the successful preservation of the Bisri Valley, symbolizing the guardians of the land and the significance of conserving nature for future generations. These embroidered designs serve as poignant reminders of Lebanon’s cultural heritage and the imperative to safeguard our precious natural resources.
